Sate Ayam Chicken Skewers

Krakatoa is Chef Abe Moiz’s love letter to his native Indonesia. Growing up, Abe’s home was filled with the aromas of his mother’s cooking. But once he moved to the U.S., he soon realized that the beloved flavors of his youth were impossible to find, and he couldn’t even replicate them because many traditional Indonesian ingredients – like fresh candlenut, galangal, and kaffir lime leaves – were also unavailable.
